Louise Whelan it was a pleasure to work for you as part of the Pioneer Homecare Team, I am speaking from my heart Pioneer is the best homecare company I worked for in 20 years because every member of staff has all the important qualities which is empathy for the clients and excellent training. The care plans are tailor made to suit every client emotionally physically and psychologically. Most importantly Louise, the staff listen to every carer, and you were very kind to me and understanding when my husband Derek got ill and I wasn't able to do many hours. Pioneer is a great family run business and I will miss you Louise and the staff although I treasure the lovely memories of working with Pioneer xx.

Best Company To Work For

Pioneer Homecare is a fantastic company to begin your Health Care Assistant journey as they really look after you and motivate you along the way. I was impressed by all the benefits they offer and found their full induction training incredibly thorough and helpful especially as I was starting off my career as a carer.
I have been working with them now for close to a year and even though these times are tough I can still say I love my job and feel Pioneer Homecare really have my back when I need them for anything.
I can vouch that this is a great company to start your Carer career in as you be fully supported and motivated along the way.

The Best Homecare Company I've Ever Worked For

I have worked for Pioneer for three years and I have to say, it's been the best place I've ever worked. Since day one I have had great support from all the team. One of the best things about working here is that we get free training on all aspects of the job and there's always someone there if you have a question or need support. Obviously when Covid first hit we were all very worried but the job was always in touch giving us the up to date advice and PPE is delivered to us as often as we need it. We were also given Infection Prevention and control training and Covid training which made me more confident going out to the community. I couldn't recommend Pioneer enough!!!! Great place to work.

Great team, Relaxed, fun and great environment to work in

I work for Pioneer Homecare for the last few years and we thrive on team work, we have fantastic management and great co-ordinators. Always there for us in our hour of need they go above and beyond for their clients and are a huge support to the team on the road and all of us. I wouldnt choose anywhere else to work other than Pioneer so happy I work with such a wonderful company and i love going to work everyday. We are also on great pay rates weekdays and extra weekends which is an added bonus.

Lovely staff

Been working for Pioneer Homecare for two years now and have not looked back. Fantastic, supportive company to work for and could not recommend enough. Over the years I have gotten to know the staff including management really well and a lot of the other carers who now feel like a second family to me. There is a fantastic company culture in Pioneer Homecare and a great work\life balance.

Supportive Company

I love my job as a carer in Pioneer Homecare. They look after their staff so well with support non stop and ongoing training. I feel truly appreciated and in turn it makes me feel more confident in my job and ability to care for vulnerable people. If you have any concerns or feel uncomfortable with anything their staff will always be there to listen and help. Thankfully I have had nothing but wonderful clients who at this stage feel like my own family. I cannot recommend Pioneer Homecare enough.

100% Supportive Company

Very happy!

I have been working as a Health Care Assistant for Pioneer Homecare for nearly two years and find it to be one of the best Home Care companies to work for out of the many others. I feel truly valued and supported in my role which is really important to me as this role can be very challenging when dealing with all kinds of people from different walks of life. I am never made do anything I am uncomfortable with and am constantly motivated with great rewards schemes that the company often run throughout the year. Pioneer Homecare really appreciate their staff which is the reason why I would never want to move to another company. Pioneer Homecare were there for the final chapter in Dad’s life and made a tremendously difficult time much more bearable. The care team were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond the call of duty in making Dad’s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible. The ladies and gentlemen who attended Dad conducted themselves with grace and dignity and afforded the same to him. As a family, having the carers there allowed us the time we needed to spend with Dad in his final days. We will never forget your care, kindness and professionalism. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Home Care was completely new to us but the staff at Pioneer HomeCare made everything simple and straightforward from the get-go. The office staff, management, supervisors and carers have been the epitome of professionalism and have treated my parents with the utmost of respect and dignity. Both Mam and Dad are in their 90s and it is fantastic to be able to have them at home, amongst their neighbours and friends and with all of their own things around them. Ciara and Aisling (carers) have been phenomenal with them both and my parents feel safe and supported in their home so we couldn’t be happier.

When I was diagnosed with MS at 34, I felt my life was over. Three years ago, with my mobility declining, it was decided I needed home care services and I was so reluctant but as soon as the women from Pioneer entered my home, I knew that they were here to support my independence, not take it away. Our sincere thanks to Pioneer HomeCare for the exceptional care our father has received for the last two years. Following his stroke in 2018, it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but thanks to the wonderful care team, Dad is now back to the man he used to be. Dad has recovered so well that we are now able to reduce the service and could not be more grateful to the girls who have been an integral part of his recovery. We have no hesitation in recommending the company to all that we meet.

Bernie is so well looked after and as a family we are able to relax knowing that she is in safe hands. Hannah has been superb and we have all noticed a massive improvement in Mum’s mobility since coming home from the hospital.
